Tapton Hall is a grade II listed building, situated on Shore Lane in Crosspool, Sheffield, once Tapton House- home to the Shore family, including Mary Shore, Grandmother of Florence Nightingale, who often stayed at the house as a child- is now host to weddings, civil ceremonies, corporate events and special occasions- as well as lunches and afternoon teas. The building boasts a variety of rooms that show off its rich history and abundant grounds. The bar lunch menu is based on classic “fish and chip shop” dishes, as well as British and Vegetarian dishes, with an informal setting -allowing friends, family and colleagues to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lunches are based on a ‘walk-in’ service but it is advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
