The Pompadour has become an Edinburgh institution since opening its doors in 1925. With breathtaking views of Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle from its arched windows, this restaurant boasts some of the best views in the city. The ambience is French imperial, being named in honour of one of Louis XV’s courtesans.
While Executive Chef Spencer Wilson’s menu boasts of being “Seriously Scottish,” changing monthly to showcase the finest local produce, there is a classic French influence on his cooking. You can sample his culinary creations from an a la carte or seasonal set menu. |
