Keeping things simple, Hix Oyster & Fish House features a small terrace with a wooden bar outside and floor-to-ceiling windows inside, which open out to present diners with great views. There is no question that this is the best spot on the South West Coast to enjoy lobster and chips or a dozen oysters and bottle of champagne whilst gazing out to sea.
Supporting sustainable fishing and cooking only the very best ingredients, the menu offers a carefully selected choice of fresh fish and several meat dishes, whilst the blackboard highlights the oysters of the day. If you would like a little added privacy with your meal, the chef’s table is situated downstairs with an open kitchen and bar area, inviting you to watch the chefs at work whilst you eat. |
